Covering 12.016 hectares, its key attractions are the Volcano and the Fortune River waterfall. Available here are restrooms, showers, drinking water, electricity, telephone and parking area. There are several trails: Principal: is 800 meters long and presents a breathking view of the volcano and the lake. Los Tucanes: is one kilometer long, displaying sites of geological interest and biological diversity. Las Heliconias: stretches along some 500 meters, and is good for a close up of the volcano. La Catarata: Two kilometers long, goes right up to spectacular waterfall. This latter is most appropriate for trained hikers, although there are steps, handrails and ropes along the steepest parts. It is not recommended for children nor for elderly people.
