CABO BLANCO
Nicoya, Guanacaste

This natural reserve is located on the south extreme of Nicoya and consists of 1.172 hectares of land and 1.790 hectares in its marine part. This is a refuge to the flora and fauna of the dry Pacific and great quantity of marine spices. The fauna is represented by deers, howler and withe-faced monkeys, coyotes and little tigers. Marine birds are very numerous specially brown pelicans, gulls and the brown wanderers of sea. On the other hand the terrestrial birds more characteristics are Toledo, the magpie copetona, red widow, green heron and the red-head buzzard. Within marine life it is possible to observe great number of fishes, crabs, lobsters, shrimps, clams and many other species.
