Arenal Lake is a place that counts with many natural attractions and from
which you can watch the impressive eruptions of ash and lava of Arenal
Volcano. Due to the beauty of the landscape and lush vegetation, Arenal Lake surrounding areas have become an excellent spot to take boat tours. Here you will enjoy a 2 hours motorboat ride on the lake where you will have the opportunity to see a huge variety of resident and migratory birds, and mammals like the monkeys, coatis, and sloths. While riding on the lake you will observe the west side of Arenal Volcano and flashes of eruptions when the sky around the peak of the cone is clear.
