Monteverde Canopy Tour Information Page

The Monteverde Canopy Tour is a tour, which can be enjoyed by people from all ages. It is a tour that consists on suspension cables through which the tourist or any other person will travel from plattform while enjoying the beauties of the cloud forest canopy. These cables are specially designed by expert engineers who have made it one of the most safe and thrilling adventures that are available for the tourists in Costa Rica. We equip our clients with high-tech harnesses to ensure their safety. Also each of our clients is attached to a safety sling at all times to prevent any casualties. All our guides are professionals in the area of Canopying and most of them have had previous years of experience. Our Canopy consist of 14 platforms which in total make a 1.6 km (1mile) ride. While on the platforms or during the rides the tourist may watch or search for different types of animals including some mammals and various species of birds and insects.
We are located on a private reserve 7 kilometers away from Monteverde Downtown. Our fully equipped van collects our clients up from any hotel in the area at the end of the tour drops them back at their respective hotels. The tour takes about 2 1/2 hours from departure to drop-off.
