From San Jose get the highway to Cartago and
keep on to Paraiso Town. Once you have reached Paraiso follow
the signs to Orosi Valley and Cachi Dam. On the way you will see
the Basilica de los Angeles and many touristical stores where
you can find very useful information. The first tram of the road
is very fast, then from Paraiso to Orosi, the way must be taken
with care. The view of the valley is amazing all the way. Then
you will have the opportunity to see from a long distance the
lake of Cachi, the one that provides the water to generate electricity
to all the country. Do not worry, all the road is paved and accesible
all year around.
