Leaving
San Jose in the late afternoon for a scenic drive to Puntarenas where
you will be welcome aboard the state-of-the-art Catamaran Manta Raya in
which you will head to the open sea. The lights of the port city dimish,
the quietness and the brilliance of the horizon-to-horizon stars in the
cool clear night air will surround us like a blanket. As we cruise the
calm water of Nicoya Gulf, our astronomer will explain about constellations,
galaxies, planets and star cluster. Then enjoy an exquisite meal in our
private reserve Punta Coral that is accessible only by boat. Each night
will include a seminar given by our renowed Costa Rican astronomer and
the use of a star-finder reflecting telescope to look at the sky. The
