Departing from your hotel early in the morning, you will arrive to Monteverde
about noon. In the afternoon you visit the Butterfly Farm or Sky Walk
and the Quaker's Cheese Factory. Overnight at a local mountain lodge.
On the second day an early visit to the
Monteverde Cloud Forest Preserve, slide show and visit the Hummingbird
Gallery. Monteverde is the home of the magnificent Quetzal and the Golden
Frog. However the reserve offers a rich and varied collection of plants
and animal life, that your guide will help you to spot: birds, reptiles
will be pointed out and special vegetation. After the visit to the reserve,
start on your drive back, arriving to San Jose in the early evening.
