The Chilamate Section is a 7 miles tram. Comparable to the float on Rio Corobici, this calm, quiet sectio of Rio Sarapiqui winds through lowland wet forest on the Atlantic side of the country and is perfect for nater lovers and birdwatchers. The lower half of the river flows along the borders of the beautiful, protected La Selva Biological Reserve - thick with lush vegetation, towering trees, vines and flowers. You will enjoy the peace and quiet of the rainforest while watching iguanas, turtles and numerours species of birds.
